Internet Safety

At Lawley Primary we are committed to ensuring that our pupils are protected from harm and supported to achieve the maximum benefit from new technologies without putting themselves or others at risk.

Internet safety is a major concern for us all therefore we also feel it is incredibly important to share relevant information with parents and carers. By doing so we can work together to promote the same positive messages to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children. Please see below for further information.

Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Command

CEOP aims to protect children from harm online and offline, directly through National Crime Agency (NCA) led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies. If you are worried about the way someone has been communicating online, let CEOP know so they can offer support and make sure you get the help you need. To make a report you can click the logo to visit the CEOP Safety Centre.

This short video by CEOP helps parents and carers to understand about children being 'groomed' online and what to do to protect them  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt-9NI1qCKI&index=4&list=PLB669A15C370C446C

There are various other short videos from CEOP available at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB669A15C370C446C that cover different topics relating to keeping your child safe.
